USA Swimming Coach Mentoring Program
Dear LSC Coaches Reps,
USA Swimming’s Club Development Committee is pleased to announce the 3rd annual grant program for LSC Coach Mentoring. Many successful coaches talk about how they were mentored earlier in their career. This program is intended to create a practical and affordable means to connect younger inexperienced coaches with a veteran coach to aid in the development and education of the coach.
Please read the attached document that explains the submission process for the program. The deadline to submit a proposal is December 1, 2015. This deadline will allow LSCs the entire calendar year to implement their programs.
If you have any questions, please contact me via email or phone.

Coaches Registration Information
I am going to begin to post random articles about coaching and training and parents. If you have a subject you would like me to find info on please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org and I will see what I can do.
Also, if you are not members of the American Swimming Coaches Association, you are missing out on a lot of great info and educational opportunities. Go to www.swimmingcoach.com for info.
One source of reporting and opinion that has been top notch for a long time is Cap And Goggles by Casey Barrett. He has sources and access to info that we should all know so we can keep our Administrators, NCAA, HS, USA Swimming on the up and up.
A great source of information about coaching, not specific to swimming, but to the art and business of coaching is the "Winning Ways Blog" and its "Championship Performance" newsletter. I have made a couple of links to some of them below.
Swimswam is also a useful source of information, although they have had some issues in the past with not sourcing their stories very carefully.
